American physiologist, neuroscientist, and educator. Professor and Chair of the Department of Physiology and Biophysics, Washington University School of Medicine, 1967-1983. Emeritus Professor, 1987-1994. Dr. Hunt was born in Waterbury Connecticut in 1918. He received his B.A. from Columbia University in 1939 and his M.D. from Cornell University in 1942.
